Marian lives in Edenderry and has 3 children all of whom attended SME.  She was  Chair of the SME Board of Management from 2019 to 2022 and a member of the BoM from 2016 to 2022. Marian is a graduate of DCU and attended SME from 1977 to 1981. Marian is passionate about the role education plays in creating opportunities and realising the potential of each person in a changing world.

Marian currently works as a non-executive Director, serving on the boards of Permanent TSB plc., HP International Bank,  IDA Ireland and is Chair of DCU Educational Support Services DAC. She is a member of the Governing Authority at DCU.  Shei s a Chartered Director and Certified Bank Director with 30 years’ experience in developing strategy and leading transformation programmes across multiple industries and countries through her previous role as a Partner with Accenture
