A Warm Welcome for 203 New 1st Year Students at St. Mary’s Church

Today was a special day at our school as we welcomed 203 bright-eyed 1st Year students into our warm and welcoming community. The occasion was marked with a heart-warming welcome Mass held at St. Mary’s Church, a momentous start to their journey with us.

The morning was filled with gratitude and camaraderie, and it wouldn’t have been possible without the contributions of some exceptional individuals. Our readers, who eloquently shared the Mass with us, set a serene and contemplative tone for the event. The choir, with their angelic voices, lifted our spirits and added a touch of magic to the ceremony.

A special shout-out goes to our dedicated Meitheal team, who have been instrumental in helping these new students transition into our school community. Their support and guidance are invaluable as our newcomers find their footing.

Of course, we must express our deepest gratitude to Fr. Liam for his blessings and spiritual guidance, which filled the church with a sense of peace and unity. Ms. McCann and Ms. McEntee, your dedication and effort in making this event a success did not go unnoticed, and we appreciate your hard work.

As we look back on this lovely start to the students’ journey in our school community, we are filled with hope and excitement for the year ahead. Together, we will create memorable moments, achieve great things, and nurture a strong sense of belonging.

To our 203 new students, welcome to our school family. We can’t wait to see the incredible individuals you’ll become and the positive impact you’ll make in our community. Here’s to a fantastic year ahead!
